Akindeko is still the best boys hostel in FUTA for the ΓÇ£strongΓÇ¥. Akindeko life never let me miss home. Lived there in my First, second, third fourth and I'm still living there in my fifth year.

I'm giving 3stars because there's availability of light. However, every other thing is a mess... The hostel is not clean, no water sometimes etc. Wonder what the University Administration is doing not taking care of their students who stay in the Hostel

"tough times don't last, only tough people last" It's more than I can say for this place. It's facilities need renovation but what can never be renovated is the life... It's like a heritage

The place is quite local and looks a little unkept due to that fact that it's an old boys hostel and relatively cheap.

The male hall of residence for students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure.

It's in dire need of renovations.

The rooms are in stark-poor shape. Kitchens are always looking so unkempt.

Students are way too much for the capacity it normally would take.

It's quite accessible. Public toilet facilities are available.

Akindeko is one of the oldest FUTA hostel which many great students have leaved in, but I can tell you as of today I can't leave in Akindeko as a FUTA student, basically because of the dirty environment.........Even tho I go there to barb my hair every time because my Barber leave in Akindeko.... But I still classified it as a dirty environment, I can't advice a fellow students to leave there and I can't discourage anyone to leave there. Life is about choice, if isn't conducive for me, it might be for someone else I think, a lot of people are leaving here every semester and I believe they love the hostel which make them to chose it as a place to leave and study in FUTA.

It's a great place tho. You have to contend with mosquitoes both day and night
