Visited for the first time in 2020 and then visited again this year…still feel the same about the place. They’re well organized, the place is chill and calm. Prices are very affordable and the food is tasty.

Cozy and nice place, highly recommended for a date, nice customer service,I didn’t really like the mock tail I had, they also need to have enough glasses to serve mock tails ,they should work on having constant running water , nice staffs uniform (very catchy).Very affordable meals, they should expand the cocktail menu
Highly recommended regardless,I’ll give them a seven over ten if I was to rate them

Worst sit-out/bar experience in recent memory, built to serve large groups of people, now eerily empty, falling apart, solely surviving on past glory. Horrid maintenance of facilities, inconsiderate staff, snail-paced service.

Against my better judgment, I agreed to come to The Traffic Bar for a sit-out with friends from out of town. We wanted a family-friendly space, and someone recommended this place.

We met up here on a Saturday evening, from 4pm, we found no staff present, from the entry pathway to the gardens where we found our way. A detailed search presented one waitress who took our order (two-thirds of the items on offer were not available), and asked us to wait.

The wicker seats on some of the lounge chairs were lopsided, with missing joints, several were cracked, covered up with cushions which sagged. One of my guests (middle-aged slim built lady) fell through her chair, and when we commented and asked for a replacement, were told the seats were mostly bad, what she had was one of the better ones.

An hour into our visit, no food. We had asked for servings of chicken and fries : nothing fancy! We were told we had a 15 minutes wait... We were there from 4pm to about 6:30pm, NO FOOD.

Our Chapmans arrived after thirty minutes, and we considered cancelling the food to order pizzas for everyone instead. None were available.

We played charades and hopscotch on the garden stones, exchanged all the catch-up gist we had, got bored : NO FOOD.

When we eventually got upset and raised our voices, about to leave, a manager appeared, with two male staff who we made to pack up our orders.
No explanation was given as to why our meals were delayed.

The food itself (we ate in our car headed home) was hot and spicy, but our appetites were destroyed by the sickening apathy the food came with.

Two wasted hours that ruined a happy occasion and left a dismal impression of Abuja on my guests. Never again.

The mark of a good restaurant is not necessarily its size but the quality of the food and the generosity of its staff. The location of the restaurant makes it promising, the owners were at least wise in this regard. I don’t think one needs a reservation to eat, the neighborhood was calm and the parking space was well thought. The restaurant has both indoor (clean interior and good air conditioning) and outdoor( clean, quiet and calm, simple decor). The restroom though small but clean. The waitstaff had an idea of the menu and was incredibly kind and accommodating.

Our order;⠀
• Mexican riceu003d1500⠀
• Yam porridgeu003d 2500 ⠀
• peppered goat meatu003d3000⠀
• Rock shandyu003d2000 (made up of sprite and soda water mix topped with angostura bitters) ⠀
• Malta Guinnessu003d 700.⠀

???? ⠀10,567.60(including VAT)

The menu was well priced and its budget friendly. Took 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The Mexican rice was messy in appearance as shown in the picture. The Mexican rice was in fact just rice with carrots etc as decoration. No special sauce/ distinguishing features to be found. I will take the blame for disappointment as it’s ordinariness, what I will not take blame for however is the Mexican rice and peppered goat meat was cold, the rice was hard. This I can’t recommend.

Humorously, the porridge was perhaps the most honest and straightforward dish of the entire meal. The porridge was cut in small bits and soft, the porridge was well spiced.Rock shandy has a cool taste but if you’re not a soda person I recommend you choose another. ????: @cheta_okoli

Amazing.

Loved my smoothies always.

Enjoyed my time here. Loved the concept of making each session of the bar have street names.

So amazing. Had peppered beef here with cocktails. Great service. Courteous staff. Kitchen could be seen from outside. I think that rose my confidence in the place. Security did help park the car. I thought that was nice too. The bar is in a coded environment. Was very hard navigating.

I had always heard about traffic bar but never been there. So parking might be a problem for crowd. I didn't like the fact I had to walk 3 flights of stairs before getting to the bar.the staff was not so friendly at first but later on she smiled lol. I ordered the spring rolls, fried yam and chicken. Very worth it. Very tasty and well made.
