Another branch of Ojuelegba in the district of Maitama that is strategically located in one of the most Busy areas of Maitama district. A secure environment as it is close to the Inspector General of Police residential building.
Same menu as all other Ojuelegba Branches. A general toilet located close to the entrance.
There is no wheelchair access nor parking on the plaza where this restaurant is located.
They do eat in, take away and event catering service.
Their services here seems faster than any other of their branches I've been too.

The Ojuelegba Amala Point is just vibes and packaging. The Amala is Harvard standard. I think people looking for Amala prefer the lungu joints. I’m not a fan of Amala so I didn’t taste it. I ordered, rice and Turkey with drinks and left. The meal was good and filling but pricey for a supposed street food.

Everyone I’ve asked about their Ojuelegba Amala experience don’t seem to enjoy it. Try other meals here though like their yam porridge is a hit but small portion.

Ojuelegba is a good restaurant for your local Nigerian dishes, I visit the one at gwarinpa most times
I decided to visit the one at maitama cause it was closer to where I was at the moment, I checked map to see their closing time and I saw 10pm only to get their and I was told that they close 7pm by the security
Kindly edit your closing hour so that people don’t waste their time coming there after you have closed

The best Amala spot i have been to in Abuja. With Home made tasting Amala and in a very cosy, tidy and clean African environment. Service was seamless. I totally enjoyment my meal at Ojuelegba Amala. There is adequate parking and normal and VIP section if you so wish.

It's my 2nd time there today n I found a fly in my plate of jollof rice. Big green fly in the rice! All I got was sorry but ofcos, it didn't bring back my appetite or the time n money wasted.

They apologized u0026 offered another dish/plate of food but I couldn't imagine having another meal after that episode.
Still traumatized by this.

Open plan restaurant. Clean, affordable, well prepared Nigerian and continental food. Amala (yam flour), Abula (iwedu, gbegiri (ground beans soup), stew) available with assorted fish and stew.
Fresh fruit juices, soda and still water are also available.

It's a food joint in Maitama where you can get your local dishes ranging from amala with ewedu, gbegiri, egusi. They sell meat, fish etc. They also sell rice for rice lovers and they have wash hand basin where you can wash your hand with water and soap for those that love to eat with their hands. They also sell water and drink.
