Very very very poor hotel,with a poor and dirty environment,poor services,I didn’t enjoy even a night in the hotel,and there was a knock around 2am on my door thank God I locked my door I was very very scared.

It is a budget hotel in Garki what I was looking for when I made the booking. The room was clean however the wifi signal on my floor (3rd floor) was poor and the environment around the hotel is not pleasant.

However I was impressed by their customer service. I had dinner on the first day of the stay there. I had egusi soup, fiah and pounded yam which I absolutely enjoyed. The next day whilst chatting with a friend staying in a different hotel about the quality of the meal at his hotel he was unimpressed by it and thought it was pricey. I proceeded to invite him over for lunch at my place before we went for a dinner party. I called the restaurant to place our orders and we proceeded to the restaurant for our meal. The soup served to my guest was not properly heated we Informed the waiter and he remedied it. The fried rice with fish which was served to me was below my expectation. It was steamed seasoned rice and not fried. Also the chef was heavy handed with the salt when preparing the fish. Although I was famished after taking the second helping of the rice and a single taste of the fish I rejected my completely. The waiter apologised continually and asked if they could make another dish for me. I informed him that I was leaving immediately for dinner. I went up to my room to drop off something and the waiter followed me to my room with complimentary wine and drinks still apologising about the meal. I turned them down but he insisted. I them took only the wine and left the drinks. I told them to charge the meal which my friend had to my room but they later informed me that it was complimentary also. The waiter who managed the whole process was Josiah. He demonstrated commendable customer service skills and leadership you do not find these days even from managers and owners in the hospitality industry. He did not make any excuses but accepted feedback and approached his manager and ensured that I was happy. For such service I will go back again.

Nice hotel, complimentary breakfast, quick switch to alternative source of power when one is out. Staff cooperation is good but needs improvement. Foods from the restaurant are a little bit expensive. Poor entertainment system.

Staff were polite rooms are very large and the breakfast was large and tasty. Electricity was 8 out of 10.

Taxis outside the gates provide safe and affordable trips to the city centre

Hotel makes you feel at home

If yuv book room online print out the receipt to avoid mix ups...get ready to use poor quality intercom systems and be prepared to remind the staff to clean up the room...I had to remind them a few times.

I miss the full air conditioned rooms
