This plate of rice and 4 piece of plantain with 2 meat was sold at 1000naira each to me, but later asked a friend to confirm and apparently it was only 600naira, and i bought 6 plates, i dare u to make riches with the little you cheated me PETERS RESTAURANT

The Restaurant is located in a semi-serene area of PZ Zaria. They offer delicacies in local indigenous food. However the service can be poor sometimes as crowd outnumber the waitress most times during peak hours of 12noon - 2pm.

The price was okay for the standard you're getting, not difficult to locate as Peter's is sort of an institution in Zaria and everyone worth their salt knows where it's situated. I have to say though that their jollof rice is subpar, looks and tastes like lighting colored rice, don't get where they get off from calling that meal "jollof rice". Their soups are their calling card though, I'd recommend oha soup or the white soup because the bitterleaf soup when I had it was missing cocoyam and had way too much stock fish for my taste, got one stuck in my throat and not enough bitterleaf for bitterleaf soup. Anyway it's inexpensive and the soups are relatively good but I most definitely do not recommend the rice to anyone unless you're desperate.
