The Uyo township stadium since the construction of the new international stadium has become a shadow of what it used to be, but this shouldn't stop anyone from still going there to use the place, it is nice for hosting large events that require a space for a large audience, if you also reside in it's environs it would also be a nice place for exercising although I would recommend the unity park better for the exercising especially on Saturdays

Actually I was at Discovery Park not the stadium proper. The feeling at Discovery was exhilarating. Their services is top-notch. I'll surely go back.

The Uyo Township Stadium needs to be fixed! The place is falling apart. It should be refurbished and open for schools and organisations to hold sporting events there. That is one way to raise funds to maintain the place. There are many activities that can hold there to keep the bodies and minds of our young ones busy and active

Do not know much about the stadium but there is a park there called discovery park, it has a beautiful setting for family gathering, meetings, wedding reception, birthday parties etc.
There are drinking, food and chewable of all kinds.

Abandoned now… you can visit discovery park nearby or play table tennis on front of the stadium
