This is the center of Uyo. At this place, you get the konga center, stores where you get to fix your phones and a bole joint (beside Konga) that makes the best bole I have eaten in whole south south region.

Meeting point for young men, women and the elderly. You can't find any dull moment at Ibom plaza!

Ibom plaza is one of the places in Akwa Ibom State that you would want to spend all your days in it. Its environment is serene and peaceful. The big trees there serves as shades on sunny days

If you're visiting Uyo for the first time, Plaza is the first and most important place to know. It's the centre of Uyo, linking Ikot Ekpene Road, Abak Road, Aka Road, Barracks Road and Oron road.
It used to be a good tourist attraction, but its now somewhat a shadow of itself with many commercial activities taking place in and around the vicinity.
Its still a fun place. Hang out though.
Word of caution should be to be safety conscious if you're staying out late here.
