Actually, this is the worst hotel in Nigeria.
I payed for a fully air-conditioned mini suite and unfortunately, the AC is not working, water ain't running in the bathroom and I went back to collect my money not more than 10 minutes from paying and they insisted on no refund policy.
More unfortunate, nobody told me that there is a no refund policy and it was not written anywhere.
And the staff response was entirely poor, and frustrating.
I recommend that you change your thoughts before going to a hotel.

Hotel Taraka is in my view from where I stayed in Sokoto. So definitely not much to say about it. But in general the area or neighbourhood I believe is still developing as there is no good road network and when it rains the roads get a little bit flooded. At night it’s scary as the streets are dark with no street light. Unless from the building near by.

Zaria road to sokoto is very dangerous at night, it's a dead trap late at night

Taraka Hotel at Sokoto is a place to visit, very lively and nice to stay there.

The DJ in d club is still in very far from been a DJ, he can't time his songs at all, the DJ is a mess
