This is a residential area with some a well laid out road network. It feels cut off from the rest of Port Harcourt even though it is within the metropolis due to its quiet and above average cleanliness of the streets and areas.
The houses are well laid out although there are still the occasional temporary structure and street sellers at some corners.
Worth checking out for renting or owning.

Stayed there for some months and have a part time resident till date it is a nice place with a well circulatory flow and facilities appropriately positioned in strategic location. Thou there is no available public parking space in the neighbourhood...

It's a serene environment. A good place to live. It contains phamarcies, churches, small restaurants, schools e.t.c.

Eagle island is one of the emerging high brow places to live in Port Harcourt Nigeria
Well planned with good drainage system although several plots of land are yet to be developed and some parts are poorly developed.

Nice layout, well planned. Good road and away from the busy city noise, while not being far away from the major city centres.
