Although there's a bit of traffic during rush hours, the settings of the bar is nice. There's Live band performances every Fri- Sun. Amazing food especially the fried chicken and Marguerita pizza

Excellent for one because of where the hotel/resort is located -in stunningly beautiful Barbados! Excellent because I am ( still here) highly impressed with the execution of getting quickly through the particulars of checking in. Different from many resorts I've experienced- checking in is usually a wait and highly aggravating.
Ms . Rachel is a smooth operator- she knew I had flight frazzle and was not feeling it. She sailed through with all the answers to questions I had concerning billing --and the currency info as I was using different modes of payment --she was cool calm and laughed at my jokes ( sarcasm)and patient . Water was offered immediately by Ms Mary I believe- they knew how to handle my angst.
Ms. Rachel did not get frustrated with me when I asked a million questions- she's really kool???? Got me done in no time - and into my lovely accommodations.
The glitches were few and kudos to Ms. Maggie the super boss who handled my request for another room excellently!
I thought I wanted to be in a more 'secluded 'quiet area. I was offered another room - for the next day--however once I cooled down and went to the ocean the next morning- I was content with the location and happy that I chose not move.
Excellent because all the staff were / are highly accommodating and last night there was the sweetest music playing by a master saxophonist -Jazz - oldies I was singing (loudly) along from my balcony . It was sooooo pre birthday wonderful- I threw on something and went down to the magical , especially at night , the lighting , pools - swim up bar entertainment area and I had a most wonderful evening- the gentleman also played happy birthday for me.
I am hard to please - I must admit, however- this place aims to PLEASE. Today ,my birthday was sooooo beautiful- I chose this place literally because of its name ( of course the pics and reviews helped) and the bougainvillea is one of my fav flowers .
Barbados has been on my radar for 4 yrs however I was trapped by Covid. This year I was determined to come to Barbados and choosing the right hotel was highly important-- The Bouganvillea Resort does not disappoint. Today when I returned from a most exciting catamaran excursion where I danced drank -there are many non alcoholic offerings- I had some excellent hot tea -ate delicious food - snorkeled for the very first time and met some really really kool people-- we had a ball! The crew was just perfect!
So one might say was there anything you do - did not like? Simply put-No.
Excellent because upon returning today my room was cool and the bed (which sleeps like a cloud) was perfectly made and crisp; and there were balloons and a bottle of red wine❤️ That cinched the deal❣️❣️
Lovely place -lovelier staff/ people. I will tell all whom might be looking for a Barbados Resort that does not disappoint - to choose Bougainvillea Resort❣️????

The live band here makes this place my favourite. They start playing at about 7pm and the experience is always wonderful.
The waiters are friendly and the waiting time for food is average.
Overall, definitely one of my top favourite places to relax.

The ambience is very nice and the service is superb. I had their Buffalo wings and it was very tasty and not too pricey.

We had access to the conference hall. It's a good place for small to medium sized meetings. The location is top-notch, however, we didn't have much access to other services.
