Pros: affordable rates,

Spacious rooms

There seems to be power supply all day. Either by grid or generator.

The staff are courteous.

Cons: dead bulbs made ambient lighting poor. I had to inform the front desk for the bathroom bulb to be fixed.

I had to inform front desk about towel and soap.

No duvet on the bed, their intercom don't work so I had to keep running from the second floor to the reception at the ground floor for everything... At a point i just quit asking.

I came on a Saturday intending to stay for two nights, but was told Sunday had been booked out. Meanwhile, I contacted them online before coming earlier but this wasn't told me until I arrived. I have to go and search for a plce to stay today as it stands. Quite a frustrating experience.

No hot water.

Tap water always drying up and later coming back.

No smoking notice is posted, but the first floor reeks of stale tobacco odour, right from the corridor.

I love the location of the Hotel, quite accessable and peaceful. However, I would suggest for proper maintenance and administration or renovation, upgrade and better administration.

I stayed at Lobic last year September and it wasn't pleasant.
It's not that it's dirty but it seems so dirty and old. The rooms are spacious really the room I was in you could add 2 more bedframes and it would still be roomy.
The food is cheap and tasty but kindly don't go to the kitchen.

I passed by Lobic in January when I was in Owerri I saw new paint job. I sincerely hope it's new management with better plan for the hotel.
It was very affordable too.

They need to renovate this hotel, the interior ain't cool at all... everything seem to be so old in there... the rooms look awkward and the towel so old and weak as well.. they just need to retouch everything about the hotel ... though it's gonna cost them but the management need to do a lot of work so as to welcome new guests ..... am sorry ....

With 6,000 Naira, you can get a cool room to pass the night . Nice environment and friendly staff. Noisy generator set. And the water heater here does not work. The restaurant cooks well also. You may wish to try their meal.

Very affordable but lacks standards. Whereas some rooms are okay, others would give you a rather nightmarish experience. Most rooms on the east wing of the building are horrible. There has been a recent renovation on the main block but still lots of work needs to be done. You don't have much TV channels to choose from. You may also need to request that insecticides be used in your chosen room to ensure you have a mosquito-free night. You may be exposed to better options if you check-in early in the day. Nonetheless, it's still my hotel of choice when affordability is the criterion.

Lobic is located around Maranatha avenue close to City global hotel.
Its rooms are clean. It has nice architectural design and a hall for your events.
