Aside from been a beautiful edifice and a religious place, it serves as a bus stop especially in the early hours of the day. It's one place you can get transport to other neighboring states and cities if there is need to leave osogbo at dawn. The building also serves as a monument as it's strategically located near the palace and at a busy intersection

This mosque is being renovated but it still accommodates a large number of Muslims during Juma'at prayers. The mosque is a landmark and an historical masterpiece.

I like the previous architecture design of the mosque before this recent facelift but the facelift is also another good morden architecture design that'd have wow at the beauty. It's also a landmark for those coming into Osogbo from Ilesha or other parts of Osogbo.
