Dilapidated building. Unfit for anyone to live in but the hostel still habours over 200 persons. No proper functioning amenities, dirty environs. It's not safe...

The Boys' Hostels of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka are a no-go area due to the high level of filthiness and dirtiness; dilapidated and decaying building that have probably not been renovated since the year it was built (in the mid-ninties)

It was cool and very lively, full of students from different places, different behaviors, views, languages, yet all living together peacefully

It's like a jungle, the room is not in good condition, even the door to my room is damaged. Let's not even talk about the toilet. Anyway the good thing about alvan ikoku is that it has iron door.

Don't come with high expectations, you will have fun, lots of it, make friends and all that... But if you're looking for a place to get comfortable, you are at the wrong place????????

Well, in its present state it is actually a nice place to stay except for the bathrooms and toilets which I think should be renovated as soon as possible.. Also the electrical wirings need to be treated with utmost effect as students living there might be exposed to live wire and electric shock.
