This was the then historic Horseman roundabout Maiduguri, it is located at the heart of the city. The then government and the current have really improved the environment with landscape design and also put a CCTV camera which helps to know the activities happening within the town. The Roundabout is one of the largest in Nigeria, this pictures you will be seeing are a view taken at hours of night. You may like to pay a visit just to have the feeling of the environment.

This is the largest roundabout in the city of Maiduguri and perhaps the largest in Nigeria. It is really large. It is the major roundabout the really welcomes you into the city of Maiduguri and it serves as the gateway to may parts if the city. One major thing is missing in the roundabout and that is the presence of a suitable monument. With a little more aesthetics, this place can really give a good welcome.

Welcome roundabout popularly known as horseman roundabout is one of the biggest in West Africa and is located at the Metropolitan Council of Borno States Nigeria. It is located at the men Road linking from maiduguri potiskum Road diverting from the right zoo Bridge, school of nursing down from the centre going straight from the roundabout to post office around about the Jagual andv market Monday market and from the left going straight the West End

It is a road without traffic ???? lights. Although there is a scanty presence of road safety officers but not all the time. It however have a police station very near it which makes the place a little bit secure in Nigeria standard. The place is dirty (relatively) but the sanitary condition is somewhat acceptable. It is mostly busy due to the presence of a market around it and also a bus stop for keke operators
