Ramat Square Race Track is a sports venue, race track which is located along Shehu Laminu Way in Maiduguri. Ramat was once a great place for the prestigious Polo sport, football events and the likes. It is safe to say this is the functional stadium for Borno State apart from the sport centre. Although Ramat Square is now popular for political and religious rallies... As far as organized sports is concerned, this place is really not serving it's initial purpose. With more support for sports from the state government am sure the will easily come alive again.
