If barbecued steak is your thing then you should try out the Suta spot on Allen Avenue, Ikeja just by the traffic roundabout. This suya spot is old and has been around for several years.
It is a popular joint and could do with some renovation and a face lift.
I guess the popularity of this University of Suya is responsible for the queuing up as it is a first come, first served basis .
On their menu, the serve
* Barbecued steak .
* Barbecued Beef kidney.
* Barbecued Chicken gizzard.
All of which you would have to queue up, wait your turn . Make your order, wait for it to be diced and then pay and its done.

NB
If you prefer your barbecue to be well cooked , please do well to emphasize to the man attending to your order to let your barbecue cook well( because of the queue, they might leave meat undone in a rush to attend to every one timely).

I went there early, so the crowd was minimal. Although, I've had better suya in ajao estate.

Yes, this is the famous University of Suya aka. Faculty of Meatology and the Allen Campus that never sleeps. You can get suya here 24/7. There is wheel chair accessible parking which is very limited. The Entrance has a small wheel chair ramp. The suya here is famous but expensive! I believe each skewer of suya is between N300-N500 upwards. Yes o! Their suya is for Big Boyz and Girls! If you're looking for N100 suya, well I daresay that will probably buy you the empty skewer stick. Their suya spice too is on point! Sometimes, their maybe a queue depending on whether it is peak period or not. It's been awhile since I've been here. On the last occasion, they only accepted cash. But who knows, maybe they've upgraded to POS systems but I sincerely doubt it. So make sure u have cash in hand, otherwise u may start a new Jihad war over suya....lolzz.

It you want to enjoy the best suya in lagos. I solely recommend this place. Their suya are lovely and delicious. They have normal cow beef suya, kidney suya, gaze suya and special suya. They are will organised. I bet u, u will surely get the value for ur money

University of Suya is one of the early players that offered virtually every option of meat that is possible in the suya range. They also sell all day and far into the night. They have been there for a long time. That is one of the few places on the Mainland where you can find suya at any time of the day, rather than just waiting for night before you find suya around you. On bad days, the queues can be annoying and those selling to you usually won't bother about your long wait. Sometimes, the queues can be so bad they run out of suya and have to wait for the backend guys to finish the grills and roasting for fresh supplies.
