Planet one is well situated along the busy Maryland axis. It has absolutely no reason to under perform.
It is a facility that has a good history, good parking lots, a great and secure ambience, a good choice of halls for rental with modern toilet facility to match.
The layout is also well thought of with a roof top bar which is often empty.

It boast of a cool bar with easy chairs on the top floor, cool and well lit withal variety of sitting options.

It used to run a bamboo bar. Looks like its out of use.

The hotel itself is laid back and quite impressive.

May need some fresh investment to keep this spot alive for fun seekers

Good looking hotel. Artworks gave it a traditional cultural theme. This place would have been great but for poor maintenance and poor customer service. My air conditioning was leaking throughout my stay despite several complaints about it. I had to use my dust bin to save the water from flooding my room. Other rooms were smelling damp.

Once the centre of social events in Lagos, Planet One has since lost its prime position in the social circles. If judging by how the place looks from outside, then it is a sad tale indeed.

Planet One used to be known for its accommodation and event centre services but after a while, it was just events, then nothing. The owners are going to have to do some serious and very extensive upgrades to bring equipment and services up to modern standards.

chilled and relaxed environment, especially the roof terrace and the lounge. the artwork in the hotel is intriguing, it's not the usual lagos set up, but more homely and comforting.

Don't waste your money..looks nice but lots of thing you'd take for granted in a hotel were missing (hot water for the bath rooms, loo rolls and lest i forget, electricity! I had to use my phones torch to feel my way around my room in the early morning of my departure..
