If you want to eat some good food- Buka style, this is where to go. From amala, to fufu, to eba and even pounded yam. They've also got variety of soups like ego riro, gbegiri and ewedu, egusi, okro.

If anyone is looking for a local eatery to get 'amala' swallow meal in Oke Ira area of Ogba, Lagos, Mama Moshood Food vs Canteen comes recommended. The eatery is easily accessed by the roadside on Ayo Alabi Road, opposite a church and just across from Empire Bar. There are a handful of female servers in orange uniforms, dutifully attending to customers' requests. Although there are other swallow meals like 'eba', semo and pounded yam, 'amala' is the main meal on offer and it's always served piping hot in small wrapped mounds costing 100 naira per wrap. The amala goes with assorted local Nigerian soups such as 'ewedu', 'gbegiri' beans soup, 'egusi' and okra soups, all served with stews of assorted meats. Overall, the meals at Mama Moshood Food Canteen are quite affordable and satisfying in taste. The only drawback is the sitting interior is not spacious enough to take many customers at a time.

This is the best spot in town, their food and price are wonderfully ok, if you have not visited mama Moshood food canteen you are missing alot of goodies

A nice place around Oke-Ira very close to Wahab Folorunsho street for swallows: eba, amala, pounded yam, semo and all types of assorted meat with drinks at regular prices.

There is no POS facility but transfers are accepted. It runs till around 10pm and takeaways are also allowed.

It is quite well organized, the only drawback may be that occasionally servers may appear a bit discourteous.

Mama moshood food canteen is a one on town nice place to be for any hungry man or woman no matter you taste, tribe, sex or pocket size. The place got a package for everyone and the staffs make you feel comfortable. I love the way the food is presented and how clean the environment are. There's a place for improvement though with the food and so. Regardless, Mama Moshood food place is doing a great job there
