Pretty cosy.
Love the setting plus you get your orders taken by the owner himself who by the way happens to be a courteous host!

If you love flavoured soups and sauce, you'd enjoy the meals served here.

I however had an issue with the wait time.
Too long a time to wait on orders. This aside, it is a lovely place to dine and have a good time.

???? Yes, it is! The setting is laid back - a welcome distracting from the Island's fake-bougy default restaurants and bars.

????Food is super jummy and the menu has lots of varieties.

???? Prices are more than fair! Please keep it like that to attract customers. They also offer delivery.

????????u200d????????????u200d???? Service is friendly and fast. They are Jamacians, which is kinda cool.

FAZIT: Will definitely come again!

Sent a message via Instagram. No reply.
Called 2x. No answer. Guess what?!?!
They replied on IG while in traffic then called. Y'all color me impressed.
Plus, every dish was available and in stock.
Right down the road from VI Post Office. Near Spar VI.
They run the AC and have fans. Simple and cute set up. Jerk chicken was grilled very well. I didn't even need the sauce as it was so good.

I'll be back.

Intimate Jamaican restaurant in the heart of Victoria Island. Even though they usually don't open on Mondays, Emmanueal the owner opened for us as we didn't know. The food was great and the decor also. Some upgrades have taken place too. I had the rice and peas and ox tail. Was a great choice.

Jamski is the real deal. Real authentic, well seasoned delicious food; a homely chill authentic Jamaican environment; warm and welcoming staff, and did I say the food is DELICIOUS?!!! My family and I will definitely come back for more!

When you've had a Jamaican patty on Flatbush or Church Street or downtown Kingston, you know what a Jamaican patty is.... it isn't what's sold at Jamski. But I'd be fair, I haven't tried the oxtail or curry goat, jerk chicken or cod, so I'm still at 50%... It's still at good rating but don't bother with the patties... go to chicken republic buy a pie, take it home, add curry and you'll be better off ????

Home cooked Jamaican food. They menu is simple. Curry goat and chicken, oxtail, rice and peas, Malala, breadfruit etc. Authentic Caribbean food served with a very warm smile. Try this out
