I mainly use this place as a layover point during trips in and out of Lagos. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Service is excellent. They offer an all you can eat buffet most evenings. Breakfast is complimentary for all guests.
During my last stay, they had a live band performing at the bar area, for customers that love music.
An option for those who may not like this service, is to use the comfortable seats provided around the poolside. I tried both and must say they worked for me!

A very welcoming ambience here. I like the fact that I was able to put my phone on charge even while downstairs at the reception. The pool side is very cool although not too deep. The location os just ideal,very close to capital and to airport. Good size car park and nice service in general. A bit priced but it's worth it.

At first glance the hotel looks like it would be deserving of 4 or even 5 stars. But keep reading...
Room was clean but very small. As you see in the picture I posted you can hardly navigate around the bed. They gave us only one towel. When I called and politely asked: "Is it possible to get one more towel?" The response was: "Let me see if it's possible". Well I waited for an hour. I guess it wasn't possible. A courtesy toothpaste and brush was expected but not provided. Buffet dinner was average. The buffer breakfast mediocre at best. They got busy and out of clean dishes.
It's my first time in Nigeria so maybe this is normal or better. I'm comparing to what I've experienced previously around the world.

Ibis Hotel has dipped in the quality and variety of its service and renowned Buffet. The sheets in the rooms are clean and bathroom amenities are short in towels and even soap. You get one over used faded towel for the day. They got to do better. I requested for my stay receipt to be emailed to me. They agreed and promised to send it. They didn’t. I called again to appeal for my receipt and they promised but refused to send it. Three weeks after my stay no receipt of stay.
Aside the lady named Mary, the front desk staff acted with an attitude in all my interactions with them.
In totality, my experience at this hotel was not a good one. I didn’t get value for the money spent and it all comes down to management and not the amenities or facility.

The rooms are nice, cozy and small but I loved it. It feels like a ship cabin to me. Room service is poor though. They take way too much time before delivery ????. Pool area is great.
You can have buffet in the evenings.

Average customer service. Not totally bad rooms but I've got issues with the bathrooms because water sips out of the bathroom to the toilets, making it look messy. I actually thought it's the room I stayed in on my first visit, but a second visit proved me wrong, and of course there's no toilet brush in the bathrooms. Average swimming pool- not bad though. Didn't use the gym but a friend who did said it's okay. The food is super good. The buffet has varieties.

Ibis hotel is located close to the airport which made it very easy for me to get to my flight which scheduled in the morning. Although the rooms were a bit small I wasn't bothered as I was staying for only one night. I was not satisfied at the fact that when I asked for a spoon, I was given a plastic spoon. The bus was also very useful to meas I had a lot of luggage which a normal taxi would not be able to carry.
