It was my first time and I Honestly didn’t expect the size of the space. I even asked my friend if that was it. Someone was having an event when we went but they still made sure other guests were attended to and not disturbed by what was going on. I love the space and liked how the kitchen was outside and not cramped inside. The food was nice and the waiters were really nice too.

The waiters were so polite , The food was so delicious like , I had this particular combo and it was no nice (chicken and chips ) I went with my brothers who were asking a lot of questions but there was this tall dark guy with cornrows on ; he was so patient , our card declined because of network and we made transfer and they were so polite … The only off thing was ; it was difficult to find the place on the street

My friend introduced Food Shack to me and I was prepared for a good meal from her recommendations. Ok so we wait an hour for the wings we ordered to be ready. I was gonna weep and gnash my teeth but that would ruin my makeup. Another while later, the shrimp rice arrives. Better late than never yeah?????
On taste, it did feel good on my buds. Just the right spice like Power Puff girls (I hope this ref is right????)
Shrimp rice was not done. Abort mission on chewing…well sha it was my friend’s order so didn’t pain me much????
Ribs, tasty too. Seemed like the whole meal had honey as an ingredient. Some bees ???? are angry somewhere.
Ambience- mid lighting, chilled and a tad intimate.
All in all, I give it 3 star for trying.

Very unassuming space , love the mix of nature and architecture, it such a serene space when there isn’t so much crowd.

beautifully decorated, well spaced in terms of sitting arrangement. Food arrives in good time and the drinks taste so good, big ups to the bartender/mixologist.

Their grills are prepared to satisfaction, sides are served in decent portions and the staff is super attentive , cordial and nice .

Will definitely come here again.

The Food Shack is a restaurant that also has a greenhouse. Walking in takes you into a space with the most beautiful plants (some of which are for sale) and the most calm setting.

Had to view the menu on their Instagram page, which I didn’t really like. Imagine someone doesn’t have access to the internet. But the menu has a variety and most of the items are reasonably priced.

The cocktails ordered were delightful, and we got complimentary drinks on the house because the power went out often and the restaurant got hot. The food took 30 minutes ish to arrive, was super satisfactory and the sides came with enough portions. Loved the fried plantains, as well as the burger. The patty was well done and the buns were fresh too.

The ambience was lovely and the food was delicious. Thumbs up to the pepper sauce...it was ???? ???? , so I had to order another cocktail.

Downside- Just one bathroom

A very lovely setting with indoor and outdoor space. Foods are relatively affordable for an outlet on the island. Only issue was the time spent waiting to get the food done. But overall, a lovely place to go hangout and spend time. The store has just one toilet space for both genders ????
