Very spacious compound.
Neat environment.
Organized establishment.
Easily accessible from the road.
Their buses are clean and look well maintained.
Their drivers are well mannered and dressed clean.
It's impressive that they ply many West African routes like :
Lagos - Ghana,
Lagos - Togo
Lagos - Cotonou etc.
They are known for driving with great consideration to passengers safety and are careful to maintain a good reputation.
The fact that they have thrived for years should help them stay focused and improve more.

Currently in Nigeria, I do not know of any transport company worse than Cross Country (and I know all the major transport companies). The company is a scam and the staffs hooligans. All their vehicles are in serious state of disrepair. If you value your time and your life, please do not patronize them! In a sane country, they would have been banned and all their vehicles grounded.

We booked to go to cotonou and the process was easy. The busses were clean, had ac and left on time. We didn't have any issues and the driver was experienced getting through all the checkpoints to get us there on time. We were dropped off at their location in Benin then they went onto Ghana.

Quite a nice transport company. Has conducive atmosphere for passengers and the workers are caring even to the sick. It was quite a pleasant experience.

Avoid this transport by every means possible!! They abandoned my father after an accident unconscious at a clinic (unknown location) without calling the family. I mean he was badly injured and stitched from his head, neck and his hand was broken and coughing blood with chest pain! No medication no food and in pain and not getting proper care. They took his bag, money, card and belongings instead of dropping it so he can pay for his business. We are lucky his phone was with him at some point he started responding to calls.

I called the head office they had no information and ignored my calls from just asking a simple question of the location of my father; we had no information then as he couldn’t speak weak and the nurses were busy. By morning we went to the office and they acted like they were in the dark about the accident and said they were informed of no casualties!

I can’t believe someone can play with someone’s life like that! All we needed was information to get someone to him and give him the treatment needed and they withheld this from us! Such Negligence!! I just thank God it wasn’t worst than this. It’s a big shame because this cross country actually had a standard before. It’s just unbelievable!

For the first time, I booked and boarded a most beloved Cross Country Motors, and what I experienced is beneath the name of the once famed company. Everything that I saw on their website is false in spite of their simplicity. The bus conveying people from Lagos to Abuja was old, not air-conditioned. The driver was no PR champ. To make matters worse, the bus was put into kabu-kabu service carrying passengers for Ijebuode. The company that I admired and referred people to is dead. The management should either sit up or Cross Country Motors is due for burial.
