This centre prides itself as a black heritage site. It holds relics from FESTAC 77 which attracted blacks from 59 countries, all performing and showcasing items unique to their heritage. The centre has a museum, a library, an archives department and a screening room where clips from FESTAC 77 can be viewed. Although I didn't get to see the clips as they had issues with power when I visited. Entry fee cost 500 Naira for adults. The staff were quite nice and welcoming.

A place where Culture and Arts are Celebrated, especially Black Arts ,Culture.The Festac 1977 Festival is a reminiscence.

There’s a museum and library there. We couldn’t access the museum, one would have write a letter addressed to the DG (CBAAC) for that as we were told. We got access to the library, alot of old books, magazines and others were stocked there. Not a bad place, just needs renovation (indoors) especially and reorganization.

The building is as old as they come but still very strong and neat. Art and craft can be noticed on the walls. It is a nice place to be.

It would be a great place if there was constant power and if the staff carrying out the tours were present.

It has a great collection of African art and artifacts from a historic period, beginning in 1977 with FESTAC, Festival of Arts and Culture which attracted black people from around the world.

Better conservation efforts needed to preserve this heritage.

Great building that represents our art and culture but it looks largely deficient of maintenance and unoccupied

The center boasts of rich cultural and historical relics and studies that can be useful in modern day research, but it doesn't look well-maintained. Requires an upgrade.
