Fun fact: Professor Adetokunbo Sofoluwe was also known as "the Golden Jubilee vice chancellor".

This park is dedicated to the Professor and former vice chancellor who died in 2012. His statue stands right in the middle of the park. The park is beautiful with about 6 concrete park benches. The lawns are beautiful and are always trimmed. The park sits right beside the senate building. At night, the park lights up and it even becomes more beautiful. There used to be sprinklers once.

However, there is only one wheelchair accessible entrance. The carpark beside it is big too.

This is a great place to relax during the day and catch up with friends.

Its a Lovely park and a great place to relax and enjoy the breezy atmosphere. You could relax here at the mornings and also at nights. I

I love how the park is been properly managed and taken care of. Though it is limited to just a few sitting space fixed around the park.

The grasses are properly trimmed and well maintained.

The park itself was named after a former and late Unilag Vice Chancellor Adetokunbo Shofoluwe.

They could do more here by providing sheltered sitting space to cover sitting areas should in case of bad weather.

Awesome green park. It is located at the center of main campus close the the Senate building. Due to its elevation above normal ground level, it's a windy place. It's gallant trees provide shade even in the sunny weather. The view at night is lovely. Stay tuned....

Adetokunbo Sofoluwa Park is a memorial park at the heart of The University of Lagos, adjacent to the senate building.

This is a public place and also serves as a passageway if you are heading to The Senate Building or to The Library, Auditorium, Lagoon front, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Arts, The Guesthouse, and other offices and places around.

This place was recently renovated with exciting pictures of different dignitaries and events that have happened within and outside the school.

This place also serves as a relaxation spot for people of different kinds, including students, you can;
Wait a while here;
Take pictures;
Take a seat;
Relax for a while;
Take group pictures;
Read stories;

Maintenance of this place is done promptly, and accurately. You would love the green grass and nice trees.

Lovely place for both individual and group relaxation with lots of greenery and a few sits. It is well-maintained and lit both during daytime and at night. It can easily be sighted whilst driving by one of the major roads within the school. It can accessed freely without having to pay for use.
