Very rude staff especially the bar staffs. Indecent approach towards customers. They don't do anything about whatever you complain, the rooms are not neat, very old looking AC, most times there's no running water especially when there's no light.

The hotel is cool and the staff are friendly too. Just that the AC looked quite old and the bath tub was very old and rusty too.
Fair price for your money though.
They also have a good hall for conferences and other meetings.

It's a lovely place to be! We didn't swim because the weather was so cold.???? we had a beautiful bridal pool party... Enjoy the view ????

Despite the age I just find myself going back because of the club... Club47 is just so special you tend to gloss over all the other reservations

Such a big hotel but the management is very poor. Too much mosquitoes and the rooms need rehabilitation. Old noisy air conditioners, old television without any channel displaying. Rooms are very expensive despite the are nothing to write home about. The management needs a round table discussion to fix and upgrade the hotel.

Royal Tropicana has a new name, it's now called THURAYA TOPICANA MALL, it's no longer a Hotel anymore, is currently undergoing a reconstruction, to be converted into a modern Shopping Mall of International Standard, it is going to be the first of it's kind in the Commercial City of Kano, Kano State - Nigeria.

I don't know how to explain this, but the owner of that place needs to thoroughly deal with the whole staffs there, especially at the pool, the pool guy was pouring Allum and chemical inside which was wrong, and den the worst of it all was when over 15+ people were inside and the life saver dude began to wash the pool edges with sponge and detergent (klin to be precise) and when we came out to complain they were just laughing as though we were jokers... Not advice able
