The place is very visible and not hard to find although doesn't have a sign post.

Here, you can make enquiry on several examinations including the IELTS and Cambridge English. They're desk officers to attend to you always. The security here is also top-notched. I had to put off my phone because I learnt the waves affects the network in the area where examinations held????. Met an Akwa Ibom brother also????

It is the new office of the British Council, Kano. The initial office was located at Emir's Palace Road opposite the kano printing press. This new office is located at Lamido Crescent, Nasarawa GRA, Kano. I was there to make some inquiries regarding my IELTS exams scheduled to take place in October 2021.
But there is one thing I observed during my visit, all the staff I was able to meet starting from the security personnel and receptionist I didn't see anyone from Kano. Employment Opportunities should be given to the host communities.
I hope the management of the British council will look into this and make some necessary adjustments.

The British Council has a very serene and beautiful office in Kano.
Staff here are very courteous. Their exam portfolio is quite robust as well. You have the option of taking English Language, Professional/ Academic and Cambridge tests depending on your needs.
