Overall, good experience.

Pros: Great food. I had large prawns and rice, and the prawn were just as ordered. Large and delicious. The lemonade was so good and refreshing, and customer service could have been better, although the girl that served me was super nice.

Prices were fair and affordable.

Cons:

Not so great ambiance, except that it’s at the rooftop, which is plain and bare. It could do great with some lovely decor.

The lift wasn’t working when I went there, so I had to go all the way to the rooftop, which is 4 floors up. (If you’re not in great shape, don’t try this). Also, there was an eating area that was full of smoke, I had to go to another quiet area called the VIP or so.

The place is great. The rooftop view, 5 storeys up is simply amazing. I tried their Jambalaya rice, chicken fried rice and the Shifu special rice; they all tasted good but my favorite was the Jambalaya.
I had s'mores, peanut butter shake and banana shakes; all were good.

I took away 1 star because of the spicy sticky chix wings; firstly, those weren't whole wings but the small upper part of it. Secondly, they were too spicy, coming from me that's huge.
I also thought that the service charge was outrageous, considering the price list but then, affordability is relative.

Never disappoints, my food came in the exact time they said it would. Ambiance is top notch as usual.
The guy at the bar ‘Alex’ is a really nice guy!

Shifu restaurant is inside ASD Mall.Its a very big mall...Its a nice place,though my favourite food is jollof rice and plantain,but like 2 times I've been there to ordered for my jelof rice and plantain it was not available,so i had to go for some seafood,the seafood was tasty and nice.Also the parking space downstairs was terrible because turning your car to the exit gate is very difficult especially if you're using a jeep.other businesses like offices and shops can be found inside the mall

Beautiful location with lovely oriental food, the service was great and the ambience even better. You have the option to either sit outside and look at the beautiful kaduna city or stay inside the well lit lounge that great for photos.

Three things I'll say about Shifu:
1. First thing to do when you arrive is to order their Milkshake or smoothie; whatever that has banana and is vanilla flavoured should be your pick.

2. This , the very last floor, sits atop a couple of floors that overlook the "nicest" parts of independence way,my birthplace.

3. For any meeting of some sort, Shifu is your go-to place. It is always chilled and quiet, away from the city noise and pollution; the concept around that place caters for business hangouts, stakeholder meetings, dinners ,work hangouts aka happy hours over some food - ????. The serenity calmly enhances great conversations away from any distractions from the all-type traffic from weekend-outers. If you know what I mean ????..

4. Ask about the menu. Have a conversation with the waiter around your choices and what have you... E get why. They have enough staff to wash plates.

5. To help improve, those who wait tables should always remember food choices. I remember insisting my food be prepared without ONIONS, long minutes later, my food came with a lot of onions...it was a blame game they started. I still went ahead to pay for the meal , but that was the last time I'd do that. Give me what I ordered for, and I'll happily swipe my card; Let's go home all happy.

Lovely restaurant and the food isn't over priced. Although they had almost none of the drinks they had on their menu. Enjoy
