Chimcherry is a moderate hotel. Their services is also average. I think their is a need for improvement in terms of maintenance and service delivery. I spent three nights in the hotel without the water heater coming on despite several complaints to the management. I also realised that the room alloted to me was all dusty and scuffy. But overall, it's affordable compare to Lagos standard and the rooms are not bad, apart from the issues raised above.

Lots of overrated reviews, I'd say.
Definitely needs some serious renovation. I paid for hot water, no extra sockets in the room and the bathroom needs a good scrubbing. At the price they charge, they could do better.

Went for a wedding reception at the hotel's banquet hall. The place was OK with polite staff

Exterior looks welcoming. But when you pay and check-in, reality bites... Pray while checking in, you are not pressed to use their convenience. You'll do better to use the one in the room. The food isn't it, beddings look as if they've not been changed for decades. Then the big one... Wait for it.... COCKROACHES ET AL.

But hey... They've got an excuse for every complaint. Most staff are courteous though. but that's about the nicest thing I can say.

The place is conducive and they have space for almost everything, an internal and external bar, you can hold event inside the hall and at their outdoor space. Inside the hotel is really beautiful I like the place. And the location where it is just perfect and easy to locate.
