It's a calm and serene place for couples and family activities, this place was recognized as one of the best in the country but fell in to ruin due to lack of maintenance and management... You will see lots of empty cages in the zoological garden no lion and other wild animals seen as we anticipated instead we saw some domestic animals/birds like cow, dove. The activities in there were not monitored because I saw some hausa kids going past the barricades and closer to the monkeys to feed them all manner of things. The cost of visiting the place is very affordable.

Had a wonderful time there, it's a fun place to be in, 100 steps , the animals, the environment in okay, but I guess the animals need to be taken care of

Nothing could be more unfortunate than this supposed to be beautiful place. For new visitors, this is an important place. But it is not packaged enough. You will not want to return twice. After the first experience, you will easily notice the things that are wrong about it, from the dirtiness to the lack of maintenance. The zoo is far worse, there are literally several empty cages without any animal in them. This property is a government property, perhaps that is why it is treated this way. It contains a lot of historical objects, but it is not marketed enough.

The Jos Museum and Zoo is a good place for a family or group of friends to visit. A picnic can be done there or birthdays can be celebrated there. I think more things can be done there to improve the place as it's looking neglected. The gate fees paid/ revenue generated there should be used to develop the place to attract more tourists. More exotic animals that can survive there can also be brought.

I think one thing I was impressed about the most regarding this museum was the cost for visiting 50 Naira the price of one gala. Seriously people should be visiting this institution at least twice a week as it offers a lot of value for money.

The museum has the outdoor exhibition that focuses cars, engines and trains used during the tin mining and colonial times. Inside you have different sections - traditional artifacts, masks and pottery.

On the museum premises you can also visit the tin mining exhibition or climb the 100 steps to an area that once was the first settlement of Jos people that two provides an amazing view of the city. This attracts a separate fee

A very good ancient and historical place to behold !! Cool, calm and exciting with the root memory of Jos and it's numerous history all here for tourist to see.
The zoo section is fitted for sight seeing of various kinds of animals, birds as well as being a good playground for children picnic.
Lot of people come to this place daily especially as it is in the central of Jos town, with weekend and public holiday full with a lot of people traffic to spend time here.
A lovely place to be indeed for sightseeing !!

Though a place in the heart of the capital city despite the noises around, the Jos museum and zoo is a good place to take a friend or family almost at all times.
