Good prices but located on the highway thereby always causing traffic on market days. Also risky for cars and commuters.

Ganmo market truth be told can be very stressful to pass on market days. On other days it's very free and not as time taking as market days. Market days fall at intervals; 5 days interval.

Note: Ganmo market is a location like every other market, but on like every other market, Ganmo market is by the road side.

This market is organised to take place on every 5th day. For instance, if it was held on Monday 1st, the next market day will hold on Friday 5th. However, market activities still takes place outside of the designated market days, though not at full capacity.

Food items are predominantly sold in this market, with the exception of meat as you won't find it in large quantity like other items being traded.
Yams are in large quantity here and they're quite 'cheap'. Vegetables also...but you have to go very early in the morning (around 7am) in order to get the best deal.

Also, brace yourself for traffic whenever you're visiting. Heavy traffic builds EVERY market day. Other road users or passerby are not exempted.

All kinds of food stuffs, wears, kitchen utensils, PMS, local groceries stores, make shift supermarket, medicine stores, fast food stalls, POS and other business transactions occur here at wholesales and retail prices. It is one of the many big markets in Kwara State with contested road.

A good place to get food items at a very cheap price. Not an everyday market though, market opens everyone 4 days
