At a strategically positioned location. Good road with good parking space and security men to direct you. They have good items at reasonably good price. You could get beverages, drinks, wine, toiletries, clothing, footwear etc. You could also pay cash or via POS. The attendants too have good manners. Nice place to visit.

The customer service at Ace supermarket used to be so great for a mid-range supermarket. The staff there used to be courteous and efficient. But as with all things Nigeria, complacency has once again taken over.

Today, Friday, the 9th of September 2022, I popped in to get some regular supplies and a lot of the staff were downright hostile in addition to being careless even.

As soon as I was at the outside lockers to drop some bags I was carrying, this younger security man immediately came right where I was, and kept hanging around there, making gestures to show he was impatient and suspicious towards me. The older man whom I was used to being there has never acted this way and was always nice.

Getting in, I got the items I came for, there were mostly female staff inside and they were very obstructive, they would block aisles because they were having some chitchat there without regard for you, the customer. It took me a couple of "excuse me's" for them to finally move on their own time. If I even needed help locating a product, I couldn't ask them, no one there was looking helpful or approachable.

At the checkout, I had to try a couple of times to call the cashiers' attention to myself as they were too absorbed dancing and knocking each other about to attend to anyone. The lady who would later attend to me didn't even hide her irritation towards me for "interrupting" them maybe. Then, there was an item that she kept scanning but it wasn't registered in the computer maybe, she just picked it up and tossed it away rudely, then told me to my face it was out of stock, without even trying to work around it(before, in saner times, they would type in the computer to find the product). She clearly didn't want to try and dismissed me like a child.

I returned to the aisle where I got that from and pulled out one more of that product to prove to her it wasn't out, and it was then a male attendant decided to assist, while this other female assistant there engaged me in a staredown while openly gossiping about the fact that I was insisting on a particular product. They just kept amusing themselves with me. The helpful male assistant even went to give suggestions to the rude and dismissive cashier but she just wasn't ready to try. I just had to check out the rest of my stuff and leave.

And even on my way out, I passed by the younger security man who was towering over me by the lockers earlier; he was being all smug and took his time to get the door.
The staff that were there today all need an attitude check. Only one male attendant and the regular older security man were okay. At one point shopping, I even observed them shooing off some teenagers browsing. Wow!

Today's service at Ace was bad, I couldn't get what I wanted even though it was right in front of me and to top it off, I was met with attitude from almost everyone. I really like shopping at Ace for their great prices and availability, but I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon. No

Tldr: the staff at Ace supermarket are becoming rude and snarky and that has pushed a customer away.

Very nice supermarket.
Although the attendants are a bit slow in attending to customers..
And also they don't always have N20 and 50naira change

A nice place to visit.. Supermarket downstairs and restaurant upstairs... Beautiful and tasty dishes..
