Okay o, debonairs rebranded to the pizza company and I was here for it cos I love love love debonairs specially, debonairs triple decker.
So I visited the newly rebranded place and still got the triple decker now known as dogward or something...
Hmm...
Maybe it was because I had a meeting with someone and did not pick up my pizza fast enough but, it was too dry for me and also, was there a rainfall of thyme in the place cos it was all over the pizza. Now I'm not saying it was bad cos thank goodness I couldn't really taste it (point?) but... It gave it a weird look. Is the chef trying out something?
Awww... I loved and lived for the original triple decker that came soft, warm and seriously succulent. This dogward business was dried out, thymed out and needed to be cheesed on for #5, 900
Ambience is cool. Lots of expatriates coming in and out. Has this airport waiting restaurant vibe. Saw a table having cake and coffee ☕... Cake looked good.
Will try the calzone some other time. Something about the lady taking my money when I asked about the calzone, repeatedly saying... It's just folded pizza with pepperoni made me wary. Like the #2500 calzone has a bad rep there. Omo, did not want to find out with my money.
Ps: when oh when is the pizza company expanding to Surulere area? We too poor for all of una? Delivery is a no-no from Festac place. What's a suru babe to do?
