Shop Mesan is actually not a shopping mall. It should actually just be left as a shopping complex because that is all it is. It is an old complex or annex of shops built closely together. The complex is located beside the road leading to the airport. As of the time of this review, the said road is not tarred which makes the area very dusty especially in the harmattan. The things sold here are just local things ranging from food stuffs like pepper, tomatoes, drinks, and other items such as beverages and all other items sold by convenience stores. There are tailors around the complex, even shoemakers or cobblers. There is a cement block making industry nearby. The area is majorly a residential area. The place is well known for taxi drivers and motor bikes riders or keke riders as such that once you tell them you are going to Shop Mesan, they know where to go. However, there are no side attractions or hotels in this area.
