It is mainly a food market. It opens every day of the week. You can buy anything you want ranging from food items e.g provisions, tomatoes, meat, vegetables, fruits, rice, frozen foods, etc to clothes and kitchen utensils. There are some banks situated in the market and some parking grounds where you might be asked to pay some amount of money to park your car. There are also some really good restaurants too, where one can eat and chill.

Bodija market is a good place to get all kind of stuffs in Ibadan North, it could be a bit stressful especially when you're buying a lot of things but you could pay load carriers to help with heavy loads. Various things can be gotten from this market ranging from foodstuffs, provisions, fruits etc
Though if you're looking to buy majorly wholesale then there are other bigger markets in Ibadan that you can check out

Popular open air market in Ibadan for fresh produce, groceries and meat parts. Buyers shop here for both retail and bulk purchases of all the food items on sale here. I particularly like this market for yams and onions.

It is important to note that this a busy part of town, with regular human and vehicular traffic on a daily basis. Shoppers are enjoined to watch out for commercial motorcycles, tricycles and the local cabs while navigating through the market.
