It was a family visit. My son, his mum, and his cousins were present. They were all amazed. Seeing wild animals live among their midst was quite interesting and amazing especially for the kids.

One and only zoo in the town, I think they really need funding in other to keep these animals in shape.

This is awesome place to bring children. There are few animals though they are nice to be introduced to the children. There are lions, antelope, birds, crocodile, python and many more. You will pay a token for entrance. It's located within Gombe state university behind the Administrative building.

First public zoo in the state, giving opportunity to the indigine of the state to sight some animals in real life, getting first hand experience, also giving them an the opportunity to take a break from their busy schedules to relax and restrategise, get more energy to think ahead, good hospitally at the zoo, secure and well feed and taken careup animals. You should visit sometimes when you are in town.

The Gombe State University Zoological Garden, the entry fee is just #100 naira. There are lots of animals which includes lions, peacocks, crocodiles, python, A spotted and cave hyena, ostriches, African fish and Golden Eagle, baboons, chimpanzee, a lot of porcupines.

Zoological Garden and park located at Gombe State University (GSU) with different attractive wind animals and good structure. Its nice place for visit at affordable price.
