Quite dilapidated but undergoing renovation. For now all rooms have no air-conditioning. The standby generator appears not to be in use as there was no power after the public mains supply went off

Kanem is a low budget hotel, largely as most of the guest houses in Gombe, its peaceful and quiet. The management team are very friendly and welcoming.
However, they need to improve simple hygiene in most of the rooms as they looked old and unkept.

Not a very nice place to be... their interiors are bad and too old their toilets are worn-out as well
