Went for a corporate dinner and everything was just wrong. First, our reservation wasn't booked. So we get there and they scrambled to set us up outside by the pool. Next it took forever to get our drinks. Then took another eternity to get drinking water. We basically had to go call an attendant eveytime we needed something and this was a large group of people. I wasn't impressed at all.

Protea is one of the best place you can have your business or cooperate meeting without fear of getting disturbed.

Their services are superb, you will always want to go back there.

Every room should have its own pressing iron, you don't have to keep calling the front desk to request for a pressing iron. I was at room 130 from August 14 for 11 days and the internet was slow...other than that, it was a great environment, the staffs were amazing, they are well trained and I will always recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Benin city.

Very conducive and secured. One of the 5 star hotels in Nigeria. Spacious parking space; sited in a friendly environment of Benin city.

Perfect serene location just at the heart of the city..
The rooms are good while the restrooms are world class.
However, the services (speed of response especially at the restaurant) needs improvement

A standard hotel with the best staff and reception. It's really cozy, spacious and conducive here. I like it here so much that we have to come again and again and definitely, again. I just had the opportunity to experience their buffet treatment and it was marvellous. Great food (especially the chicken pepper soup, you should definitely try it). The salad options were so many and worth the try. Well done, Protea!

This hotel is one of the finest in the city of Benin. If you want class, protea hotel is were you should lodge. Such a calm u0026 serene environment... But i think the hotel is for those that are wealthy
