First of all, this place looks less beautiful than it does in photos, so be warned. Also, there are too many rules to keep up with even though it's not exactly a 5 star hotel. It can do better with competence and management. How does someone pay #35,000 for a room and can't access running water? The food is nice, I must confess but everything else is just mediocre and basic. I hope you find this review helpful and know the best spend to get value for your money.

Overall a basic 3 star hotel with clean rooms and artistically represented reception. Staff were hospitable during my stay. Affordable rooms. Meals available but not served with water, so had to be ordered separately even for their complimentary breakfast. Average parking space. Mini swimming pool and bar hangout available. Internet available. Wheel chair access and doorman available as well

Rooms are nice. Service is fast and easy. Towels need to be changed, as the look old and dirty even though they might have been washed and also the bedsheets. And also one this that annoys me is the number of channels and channels they got on tv, some are not even clear. For a hotel of this standard I thought there would be more channels. They got only 5 or 6 channels I think. And it wouldn't be good of me if I don't talk about their food. Their food is great, never had issues with the food all the times I have been there. There's still room for improvement though.

I spent two and half weeks at Foxtonn Hotels Benin. Upon arrival i given a warm
Welcome at reception. As I hadn’t booked online I was shown all the available rooms. After choosing the room that suited me. They informed of their facilities e.g restaurant, bar and pool area. The staff helped me carry my bags to my room. The room was exceptionally clean, I had my own fridge, clean bathroom and a tv for entertainment. Room service would come everyday without fail to clean my room. The service at the restaurant was rapid the food was delicious, their menu caters for different cultures. The bar was a none starter filled with many drink options from ;cocktails, whisky, mock-tails and many more. I spent most of my days at the pool side enjoying the beautiful scenery of the pull area. Their staff were exceptionally friendly and respectful. I was well looked after and I would advise anyone travelling to Benin to experience the great hospitality that Foxtonn Hotels offered me.

Located at Akionbare Street, Foxtonn Hotel is a very quiet and comfortable hotel with nice customer service. The hotel is very quiet, and you’d get quality and maximum satisfaction for your money

If you seek a hotel with;

- Great food variety
- Uninterrupted flow of water
- Hot water availability
- Very Good all round service..

You're not likely to get the above @ Foxtonn...

But if you desire a hotel with;

- A beautiful Facade.
- Lovely artworks on the hallways..
- Overpriced room rates
Then this is the place to go...

From the interior, it's also apparent that poor finesse in interior finishing is common to hotels in Benin.

I usually don’t do reviews but I was very pained. I didn’t enjoy my stay there at all. I was there last month, paid for the 35k room . For a 35k room I expected better honestly. The heater wasn’t working, if I try switching the water to hot the shower will stop running completely and take time before it comes back on and barely flowed. The room service cleaner didn’t wash the bathroom through out my stay there and the duvet wasn’t it at all . I kept asking them to change my room , 3 days I spent there nothing . I wish I knew Benin hotels so I could have gone somewhere else . Honestly it’s the worst hotel I have stayed in . Only good thing about it was the interior decor. I don’t recommend.
