Unizik School Hostel, Girls Hostel (Block A)

The hostel is pretty "normal" but there are some inconveniences like the water situation. Water doesn't rush in the bathrooms and you have to go all the way down stairs to fetch from the borehole. On some unlucky days when they don't pump water because of light(very rare), you have to fetch from the well. There are also a lot of things that need repairs once in a while. Like the fans, bulbs and some carpentry work. There is an electrician on standby for electrical work sponsored by the school. But for others, students pay for these things. Other than that, there's free wifi that is available when power is on. Did I tell you there's light almost 24/7?
There are also a bunch of rules you have to follow if you decide on using the hostel premises.
Though there is no major issue with security, the hostel still feels...porous. All in all, it is like a large community/family and you would fairly enjoy it if you know your way around.

Unizik hostel is a two storey building for ladies who wish to stay on campus at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Each room has four students and a toilet and bathroom.There is a provision store downstairs and a reading room close to it.
Students also worship inside the hostel on weekdays.
There is adequate water and power supply and the hostel is always neat.
The building is not accessible

I went to see a few friends and also they sell things there at the tuck shop.. The hostel as it connotes is occupied by female students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University , Awka.

A nice place with such great infrastructures. Nice rooms, nice reading rooms and also clean environment with constant light and constant water supply. Easy proximity to school. All thanks to the school for providing such great hostel.

From my observations, it's habitable but there's need for improvement. There's a rehabilitation work going on presently

I love the place. I also stay there. Its awesome. It has constant power supply, water and maximum security.
