Someone once wrote a book titled 'And The Man Died'. Now, if I were to write a book about South Gate, I'd probably title it 'And The Hotel Died'. There was a time when South Gate was beautiful and glossy but, right now, it is a dreadful place to be - the paints have faded, the doors look like they are just hanging in there, the bar is not even a bar anymore, and lots of other dreadful tales. It's more like an uncompleted building. The general notion is that it is now a den of those in search of "emergency love". In the end, the one thing to take home from this is that South Gate Hotel is definitely not what you would expect of a hotel.
