This is a local market to buy your groceries and other food or home items. You move around and meet people with different wares showcased for sales. You haggle prices a d buy at your accepted point with the traders. There are no fixed prices. Competition thrives.

Not being someone to cope in a rowdy and choked environment, I met a stampede at this market when I went there.

The market is compartmentalized with different items being sold at various sections of the complex. The staircase or aisle was like a drive in aisle which is risky as one might slip off and fall.

Overall outside the complex, everything is sold alongside every other thing. A fish seller sells beside someone selling clothes, food stuff right beside hair sellers and it really was a very choked market.

The market closes at 6pm but by 5:40pm they gates around the market gets closed leaving only one major gate open. This causes a chaos as everyone is in haste to get out.

Traders lined up almost on every corner, displaying their goods and services made it easy to navigate. Virtually everything I needed to get was available which added to my liking it. Finally, beholding the wonderful sights of moving vehicles and humans, clustered around added an extra feel.

This is the major general market in Asaba. It's bustling and has ample packing space. Things are not so cheap in this market but you can easily get groceries and most things you'd find at the markets in other bigger cities.

I don't know how best to put it but the population of people in the market are more than the market itself,if they could spread the sellers that would be of great help...cheers????

A very big market, heard it's a historical edifice, have visited it a few times now and you'll definitely find everything you need except ogbono????
