This place was a flourishing hotel back in the days. But of recent it has been the shadow of its former glory. The whole environment is getting dilapidated. The whole place is being reclaimed back by mother nature, the walls are fallen apart and the whole place has been abandoned and closed down.

I was here in 2015.. all new and everything glittering and sparkling. Visited again in 2018 and it's fast becoming a shadow of its old self. Sad. Staff still doing their best. Courteous and very helpful. There was no hot water in the bathroom. The door was faulty too.

A beautiful and warm hotel located in the heart of Akure city. It's serene environment is welcoming with delicious cusines and dishes. visitors love to visit always, just like home away from home

Nice environment. Serene. Calm and cool.. Quality rooms at prices that won't break the bank. Similar accommodation offering in other states like Lagos would cost a fortune.
Jojein is strategically located at an environment where lodgers would not need to worry about hustle and bustle of akure life. It's less than 25 minutes drive from the airport and about 5 minutes drive from town.

The second time I'm visiting Jojein and I'm wondering why the owner will allow it's standard (not sure if it ever had) to be dropping fast.

From an approach view, one would almost assume it's an exclusive resort with state of the art facilities but getting in, you'd realize that it lacks basic maintenance. From faulty water system, smelling rest rooms, faulty Air Conditioners, to untidy lawns and pool side.

Hospitality and Resort business is not for the fainthearted, it requires attention and maintenance.

I wonder why it's being called a resort, asides the swimming pool, 2 horses, 1 pony, snooker board, and 1 monkey; i didn't see other activities that makes a resort to be fun.

I think visitors only use the Hall facility which is good for events.

I gathered that it's owned by a former governor in one of the South South states.

Anyways , there's an opportunity for improvement and I hope the management will do the needful.

The place is sooooo dilapidated.....bad smell in the room, rickety doors that with a push the door flings open, I couldn't sleep well overnight cox or fear of an intruder. Broken furniture and mite infested. No intercom, so you will have to walk all the way down if you have a complaint, no water heater, Walk way filled with cobwebs.....I regret paying 10k for such a bad place though I had no choice as all hotels I went to had been fully booked. So, it's just bad place due to poor management.

It would actually have been a very beautiful resort for families and individuals visiting Ondo. But the rooms have the stale odours and the bathrooms have cockroaches. I tried the view the room before I make a booking and that was my experience. I was really sad looking at the previous reviews then getting there myself to see something else
