Located at the main market. Close to the Obas Palace and Islands marker. Can be used for rallied,campaigns, crusade and and outdoor event. Can also serve as a carpark for people coming to shop at the Central Market. There is a public toilet in the freedom park.

It's a very interesting place to be because of the weather and the parking space. The place is good for worshipping, welding reception, workshop, parking of vehicles when shopping at the central market, and also good to be used as campaign ground. The people there, are friendly and always ready to assist in whatever way. And of course, the security of democracy park is intact, so there's nothing to worry about! And again, the place is very spacious!

It is public controlled carpark with a restaurant inside it also convenient because people who visit the market can have somewhere to park

Good outdoor recreation site for a personal and family outing. You can have picnics there. However, there is limited parking space during the festive periods.

Very massive parking space in the middle of Akure. However, not appropriate for parties and private outdoor functions as you'll be greet by hundreds of party crashers. lolz
