Akure Stadium is a good stadium even though it won't be classify as a world class stadiums, I will stand out amongst other playing grounds in Nigeria... The home ground to Sunshine Stars has a synthetic turf go this is in good shape for quality football experience and a not much but considerable capacity...

Akure stadium is an Olympic stadium with varieties of sports. It's used for both training (Ondo state youths) and competition. There are various available facilities for athletics, swimming, boxing, cycling, handball, basketball, tennis, taekwondo, gymnastics, weight lifting, badminton, football e.t.c.

The stadium is the home ground of the Ondo State best football club (Sunshine Stars).

The place very much ok, there are a lot of sports activity there e.g football game, swimming, basketball volleyball game, Hockey game, Cycling and table tennis a lot of athletic there also people can also have access to any of the sports for body ND physical fitness, outside the stadium you can also get any of your spot kit e.g soccer boots,sport wear,and lots more.
