Vetlane Petshop (GARKI 2)

This vet shop is big, very busy and excites me!
There's the large front area which is the supplies store and payment point, then the inner section that houses the Doctor's/examining room and the grooming room.
The store has a wide variety of pet supplies which I love and I shop here often because of the convenience, wide range of choice and location????
From pet food, vitamins/supplements, shampoos, conditioners, toys, collars, leash, treats, crates etc and they're reasonable priced as well????
Having everything a pet owner will need in one store is a big plus and very convenient.
The ladies at the desk are pleasant and friendly, always willing to help.
I haven't fully groomed my dog here yet, when I do, I will update my review.

My reasons for giving 3 stars are:

The store needs proper arranging and products put away either on shelves or the extras packed out of the store to make room.
I think they need a mini storage room (if they don't have one already), where they can put away items that can't go on the shelves.
The store is cramped to the brim with products and crates all over, making it look very clustered and hardly any room for pet owners to sit, if they have to wait or will be shopping for long.
I know the place is cleaned daily but they need to equally clean more frequently during the day.
The grooming room needs to be cleaned out after every grooming.
I was there to have my dog's nails clipped and it had so much fur all over, from previous grooming.
This store is really a very busy one and as such, very easy to have a disconnect with their clients.
They need to find a way to be booked and busy, but still have that personal touch and warmth.
If they have more space behind, might be a good idea to make the grooming room much bigger.

I certainly recommend them and will keep patronizing them as well.
If they respond to this review and make effort to improve and implement positive suggestions, I will equally update my review.

This pets shop in Garki market sells almost every thing you need for your pet. You can also take your pets in for baths or grooming.
If you are a first time new pet owner, please be aware of buying things that you do not need. The excitement can be consuming and you could end up with a lot of irrelevant things.
The experience in Vetlane is very great. The doctors are great and friendly. The staff are quite accepting and the place has a great and exciting vibe.

My favourite pet shop in Abuja. They have almost everything one might need... Or at least a good alternative.
Parking spaces are limited though...

Brought my cat in from mite treatment, got told to come back in a week. I came back in a week (from a pretty far area by the way) just for me to be told that they meant two weeks. No apology even. Just wasted transport money.

And their things are expensive, its understand adding profit on top but an electronic mouse i saw for 4k, they sell for 8k (maybe they have an expensive supplier ????????u200d♀️).

*Update: Their treatment didn’t even work. Had to go to another vet.

They charge a premium only to keep your animals in the worst conditions. Their attitude towards the wellbeing of my pet was non-existent. They didn't cleanup after them or give them the correct medication. Their students experimented on my puppies which got them sicker. When confronted, the owner responded, "We're managing." Never again!
