They was a lot to choose from in the shawarma menu and I went with the Mexican shawarma..it was delicious ????. Great place. Fair prices. Would definitely take more pictures when next I go there.

THE BAD:
Customer service is well below par.
The advertised prices of the meals are not what you get to pay when you get there.
Their cutlery is an absolute schlock.
It took them over 20 minutes to give me what I ordered.

THE GOOD:
The quality of their meals is above par.
Nice environment.

Still the best shawarma joint for me in the entire Abuja for now until some other joint springs up. Though with limited parking space outside and no wheelchair access but they got a very beautiful sitting area both inside and outside. They are open for 24hrs service and also run 24hrs delivery service...

If you ever want to hang out in Gwarimpa. You should check out DownTown. Meal arrived within a short time. I had a Philadelphia and it tasted heavenly. The milkshake was amazing and the chips too. The ambience was cool and cozy too. You can come alone or in a group and be sure to have a great time.

Downtown Takeaway Restaurant Gwarinpa is situated on a small spot with outdoor and indoor sitting positions.

The outdoor is absolutely perfect for smokers and would look beautiful by night fall.

The ambience is cool, nice wallpapers on the wall inscribed with motivational quotes on the right and names of some countries in the world on the left. The concept behind the design is cool ????.The struggle to make an order was a tough one ???????? and the waiter available wasn’t helpful at all ????.

STARTER – Spicy Chicken Wings. This wasn’t bad atall. I enjoyed it and would recommend.

DRINK – Oreo Milkshake.

Yummy drink that got to me after I had already finished my wings.????

For Meal, I wanted Spaghetti Bolognese unfortunately I couldn’t get it because the sauce wasn’t available????.

So I remembered the signage I read before I got in saying “Home Of Sharwama” then asked if they had Sharwama and the waiter nodded in affirmation.

I ordered for Beef Sharwama emphasizing on extra pepper and cream. I guess that wasn’t too much to ask for, right? Oh well.

Sharwama arrived and it wasn’t anything I expected ????????. The only observation was the Sharwama was stuffed up with beef but with every bite, I wondered where the vegetables were hiding????. Alas, I got to my last bite with no trace of vegetables. I beckoned on the waiter, she came close and I told her about the missing vegetables ????.

She told me I didn’t ask for special Sharwama and I asked how I would have known it’s only their ‘special’ that has vegetables if she didn’t tell me?

This brings me to the Poor service and management of this restaurant ????.

REVIEW -  I was considerate enough to mention to the waiter that I wasn’t in the restaurant for just a meal but also to review the restaurant. With this I expected if not the best service but a better service not Bad????.

First, the air-condition wasn’t working which made them leave the door open for fresh air and that invited flies.

The waiter who attended to me has little knowledge of the services they are offering and was completely numb to most of the meals on the menu. I had to ask if she was trained at all ???? and she said she wasn’t.

One good thing about this restaurant is the 24hours service with available bikes for deliveries incase you order take out from the comfort of your home.????

There is a kids section on the menu.

Meals are quite Affordable and that’s impressive.

The restaurant is appropriate for Lone dates, Friends hangout, Romantic dates, Guys hangout, Brunch dates and more

LOCATION - 3rd Avenue Gwarinpa besides Access bank.

RATING – I would rate the restaurant 5/10  for all the aforementioned.

P.S – Free WiFi available.

Hangout by nightfall would be a beautiful sight I believe.

The management of Gwarinpa branch needs restructuring.

I would commend the customer care representative for how swift she picked calls and responded to customers orders.

Their customer service is the worst I’ve experienced.
I got debited twice and I showed it to them at the desk and the girls were being indifferent about it.
One literally laughed and said it’s not the first time. I told her I wasn’t asking for the money back but since they run shifts I need an acknowledgment on the receipt.
They said no.
I asked for a manager, she rolled her eyes and kept gesturing it’s no big deal.
Other members of staff told us later on that the girls were new.
Still a bad experience.
Never going back.
