The rooms are of good size.
So, the one good thing here is the size of the room and wall paint in the room, the other things are a huge minus 5 stars.
The attendance is terrible, maintenance is absolutely terrible. The receptionist (I hope has been changed) was amazingly rude, Open Lamp holders and live wires hanging close to reception couches.
Mosquitoes will hang with you, water might be a problem depending on the room you're in, dust in a lot of corners. If you ask the receptionist about light, the answer is; it depends.

Another good thing might be the open bar and hall for events... But mode of service ???? so help me God.

It's fairly okay and affordable. The hotel is located in a clean and serene atmosphere (Union Homes Estate, Kuje). It has ample parking space, a moderate size hall for hosting event and a bar. The rooms are okay but improvement is needed, the toilets need serious attention. Overall, the standard is okay for those who want a fairly priced hotel in the FCT

The services are very poor.
They use solar during the day, and by reason of that, they don't turn on the AC's. There's no intercom in the rooms for easy communication with the service units in the hotel.
Most times, even when they're running their generators at night, they still don't turn on the AC's.

It's a tragic situation for a place that should thrive on hospitality

My experience with Deroma Hotel and Suites was moderately satisfactory.

Good intentions that haven't been followed up with maintenance. The cable TV control is centralised, you only watch what whoever is in control chooses to watch from the reception. No intercom. Whatever you need you must go downstairs to ask for it, if you are staying upstairs, anywhere in any of the rooms within the hotel you must get to the receptionist to make your enquiries and place your order.
No workable water heater, thus no hot water to bath even when requested for from the kitchen it takes almost an hour before same is provided. For the two days I stayed there I had to go downstairs and request for water to be pumped for me to bath. The taps within the room was not flowing. The workers are not friendly either. Whatever has annoyed them must be fixed.

The power supply is epileptic....infact the place isn't worth any pain at all. Security is zero. One of the worst hotels in my life thus far I have ever been to and stayed at.

Not a place to visit if you are looking for a home away from home.
