The Abuja National Mosque, also known as the Nigerian National Mosque, is the national mosque of Nigeria. The mosque was built in 1984 and is open to the non-Muslim public, except during congregational prayers. includes a library and a conference room.[1]

The complex includes a conference centre capable of serving five hundred persons, the office for the Islamic Centre, and residential facilities for the imam and muezzin. During construction, the general contractors were Lodigiani Nigeria Ltd., while design consultancy was provided by AIM Consultants

THOUGH AM A CHRISTIAN WE WORSHIP SAME GOD IN DIFFERENT WAYS.
I LIKE THE ORDERLY AND TRAFFIC CONTROL IN THE MOSQUE AREA ON FRIDAYS.BUT THE MOSQUE AUTHORITY NEEDS TO CHASE AWAY HOODLUMS THAT LITTERS AROUND THE MOSQUE AREA OPENLY ,UNDER THE BRIDGE AND BY THE WATER CHANNELS. THE PLACE HAS BECOME A DANGER ZONE TO MOTORIST AND PEDESTRIANS.
NOTORIOUS BOYS ARE EVERYWHERE AROUND THE AREAS PRETEND TO BE ALMAJIRIS.
